The whole loop


The Laos section

This was a Fabulous 6 day loop with a awesome mixture of riding.

Starting in ChiangMai where we rode great tarmac roads to MaeSalong, The Golden Triangle and onto ChiangKhong the first day.

Crossed into Laos on day 2 and road probably the best tarmac motorcycle road in Asia up to LuangNamTha.

Day 3 was a 8hr affair of beautiful scenery, hilltribes and rough broken tarmac and dirt road to get to LuangPrabang.

Day 4 was a rest day in LuangPrabang and a boat ride on the Mekong River

Day 5 a huge 9 hr day of mainly remote great off-road riding, but capped of with 2 hrs of tarmac bck in Thailand to get to Nan city.

Day 6 traveling 350km of great motorcycle tarmac roads back to ChiangMai

There are lots of landslides covering the track like this, but the villages simply smoothed the track enough to go over the top of the slide
